A friend asked me to make a Kydex sheath mounted vertically on his belt for one of my Bare Bone Blades. All of my Kydex sheaths had been horizontal mounts. So here is another Simple option which will mount Both vertically & horizontally on your belt by using a square leather strap. Plus you can screw the strap on either side making the sheath either RH or LH draw...tippit

I really like that Jeff. It would be secure as a neck knife too.

Looks great Jeff.

You can always count on wisdom to significantly reduce the amount of complication in-experienced determination often teaches us craftsmen. Thanks for posting this Doc.
I have used leather on my kydex to make them ambidextrous and for mounting for quite a while now.
The knife on the left is a dagger style kydex with an ambi belt loop. Pretty simple. The complicated knife on the right is the same sheath with a high ride kydex ambi belt loop that can also be worn veritical if so desired. A simple square piece of leather would have accomplished the same thing. With your blessing, you will probably see me pirate your wisdom in the future.
