Title: X-Rhea Bowie
Post by: Lin Rhea on December 16, 2015, 01:47:00 PM
Yea, another crazy one.  :)  This Bowie is 15 inches over all and the proportions are just right. It has a full forged integral handle with a rivet on the bottom. It's almost finished by now. More pictures soon.

You're rediculous.  Once you get this process figured out, I want to see one done fully from Damascus with the whole thing polished/etched.  And if you can maintain a nice ladder pattern throughout, I'll drive to Little Rock one day just to buy you lunch.

You did this one slightly different from the other, and I think I like it!  Duh!    :knothead:   I LOVE it!  Nothing outta place on that beauty.  My head hurts trying to reverse engineer that thing. Beautiful work as always, Lin!    :clapper:

I hope some day I'm half as good as you.  Would have loved a knife like that when I was in Iraq.  Keep em coming.  I love drooling.

Damn!!  Just when you think you have seen it all just click on a post by Lin or Karl.
Really unique - not sure what is more impressive, the brain that comes up with these ideas or the talent to see them into hand??

With the "Mind over matter" and all I am sure the hamster wheel has considered the Damascus idea and/or a really awesome piece of wood or bone centered inside the relief - or both??

Dream big Lin and keep the magic coming please.

Most of us just get bucked off when we get that burr under our saddle.
You let us know we can make a 90 point ride if we apply ourselves.
Great knife Lin

Merry Christmas to you and your family   :campfire:
