Haven't been seeing anything new from Ben and was wondering how things are going.
You know how it is, just making sure all is alright.

Ben has been very busy helping a knife making friend whose shop burned. He's being instrumental in the fund raising and coordinating of assistance. I'm mighty proud of him.
In case you are on FB, his efforts can be seen at the FB page "Desrosiers Goodwill Fire Recovery Group". FYI, Adam and Haley Desrosiers lost their means of living and two of their beloved dogs in the fire. They are receiving help through the page I mentioned plus some personal gifts to keep them going. Incidently, Adam and Haley are traditional shooters. One of Adam's bows was save but he lost all arrows and arrow making tools. Another member here (akaboomer)is going to make him a set of arrows. I had to pry the arrow specs out of Adam. If anyone here wants to assist, please go through the FB page or through Ben. If you cant reach them, I can help. Thanks.
Thanks for inquiring South MS Bowhunter.

Thanks for that update Lin, I was wondering if Adam kept his bow in the shop. Not sure if it's the same one but Adam, Jeff Springer and I were all at Haywood College for their hammer-in when Adam got his new recurve. Can't remember what brand it was but we slipped into the brush and flung a few arrows during one of the breaks.
Thanks Ben and Chris and all the other folks that are helping out friends in need.

Lin,
Sorry to hear about your friends tragedy, but good to know that their are folks like Ben and others that will take up the slack!
Praying the Lord work all things out for Adam and Haley.

I have the specs on Adam and Haley's arrows and am going to build some soon. I also have the broadheads ordered. I am ordering some steel for forging some shop tools for them too. Alaskans and knife makers are resilient folks, they will work through this and get back to making the beautiful knives they are known for.

You mentioned that both are trad shooters but only that one of Adam's bows was saved. What about Haley, is she without a bow now? Any idea on what type of bow and draw weight she shoots? I might have one laying around that I could send up there until she can get another of her own.

Her bow was safe also. I don't know the specs on the bows, just the arrows and broadheads.

10-4.

What spine shafts would they shoot, I may have some unfletched raw shafts available!
