Title: New X-Rhea Bowie
Post by: Lin Rhea on February 16, 2016, 08:31:00 AM
I just made this one over the weekend and think it turned out pretty good. It is all one piece, the handle drawn out from the main bar and turned under and riveted to the bottom of the ricasso.

These knives just amaze me. Just the perfect blend of forging/ grinding skill with just enough forge marks to let you know the grind is as near perfect as hand work gets.
Please keep these pics coming even after you come up with something else that blows us away.

You sure give the rest of us a bench mark to work toward. Thank you Lin

No way to deny what tallent it takes to create such a peice. Looks about as bullet proof as a knife can get.

Awesome work.

It takes talent and a great imagination to keep coming up with something different every time.

I got to do some chopping with one of these yesterday and was very impressed with how well it handled and felt. Lin did well with it too taking 2nd place in the Art of Steel Chopping Contest.

It was great seeing and visiting with all the TGers that attended the show.

I cut with it last week too, Doug. It's amazing how such a primitive handle can feel so good in the hand!
