Title: Forge Tapered Handle
Post by: tippit on May 24, 2016, 11:47:00 AM
Tried to draw and forge taper an old hidden tag blade that I never finished.  I didn't have enough steel to draw out to make a Blacksmith Blade but it was good practice to draw, square, round and twist. Blade is 6 1/2" OAL and my four fingers fit inside the curve. It has been a busy week at the Tippit Forge. Once again many thanks to Lin...tippit

Plus I didn't like the Scotch Brite finish on Blacksmith Blade Version 2 so I threw it back into the forge for a redo...
