Post by: kbaknife on May 25, 2016, 10:11:00 PM
Here are four knives I'll be taking along with me to Atlanta next week:
(All are take-down)
First is a laddered Ws Damascus with local stabilized Black Ash burl:

This is a single twist Damascus with 3720 year old stabilized Bog Oak:

Here is a 1095/410 stainless san-mai with a hot-blued mild steel guard and 100+ year old Bakelite:

Finally a W1 blade with a hamon and stabilized Tasmanian Blackwood.

That Bakelite with the black guard and dark blade is amazing!   And ... That bog oak is spectacular.  Nice mix of materials and as always beautiful blades!!  Good luck at the show!

All are beautiful knives, but as much as I like fancy wood, I'm gonna have to go with the Bakelite.  I love your San Mai blades and the Bakelite makes for a beautiful contrast.
