Kbakknife's sheath video inspired me to suggest one more thing: I have come up with several sketches of designs to be applied to my sheaths, and a sheath can be embellished with just a few leather decorating tools once you know what you'd want to do with a particular sheath. below is a sheath example for recently finished knife:
