Title: Tomato Slicer
Post by: tippit on January 18, 2017, 04:52:00 PM
Been doing more kitchen style/meat processing knives lately...9 inch OAL 5160 with a highly figured Walnut Stump handle and a slightly up swept tip.  Blade is quite thin as it is forged/stretched from a 4 inch piece of 5160 bar stock.  A woodworking friend has been feeding me all sorts of burl stumps that he cut and seasoned for years.  This piece had to be soaked in thin super glue to give it strength...tippit
