It seems like more and more that I don't start getting my tags filled until late,,late season! This is actually my second doe of the season but I did not get pics of the first one. I took this doe last Saturday morning January 5, 2008. 58" Osage selfbow, tonkin cane arrow with a trade point all home made equipment. 12yd shot, couldn't have placed the arrow any better. I wish I could say the same about a buck I screwed up on the next day !!! Oh well still have a few days of season left and tags burning holes in my pocket.

Thats a good sized doe, she'll make many great meals for you. A self bow to me is the ultimate challenge. When I gain the know how, I hope to join the ranks. :thumbsup:
