Title: Martin Hatfield Boar
Post by: tarponnut on May 19, 2008, 10:22:00 PM
I shot this boar near Lake Okeechobee in early April 2008. I stalked up and shot it in it's bed at 3 yards. It ran and I hit it again on the run(back). It stopped and I shot it through both lungs at about 15 yards. Martin Hatfield 50#,500 gr carbon arrows(w/weight tubes)125 gr. 2 blade Magnus. Hog hunting is addictive! Here I am with my 4 year old boy at the range
(Everglades Archers).
He has taken to archery more than fly-fishing (my other therapy). He's telling me "one finger over two under Papa". (http://i301.photobucket.com/albums/nn66/tarponnut/010.jpg)

Those boars are real crackers! Well done! Some of that country looks like the Territory. Keep hitting them hard!
