Title: Fellowship with Dad and Hunt
Post by: BOFF on October 28, 2008, 10:51:00 AM: Was able to go to Michigan with dad on a deer hunting trip this past month. WOW!! What beautiful colors were to be seen everywhere. The leaves on the trees seemed to be popping out with vibrant colors that exploded in the air. The pictures don't do them any justice. Enjoy. :)

Was able to take a wonderful buck, but the fellowship with dad, a new scenery, and time away from work was far better.

I was fortunate enough to rifle hunt with my dad befor he past on - shame cause I think he would have loved bowhunting. Still have many cherished memories though. Enjoy every minute of it, life is short! :thumbsup:

Hunting with your Dad...Priceless!!!!!!

I'll be going out hunting with my Dad and brother in a few weeks. He just retired last year so this is his first extended hunting trip in many years. I'm really looking forward to it.

We didn't get anything but it was a great time spending time with the man who first introduced me to the outdoors. Coming home without meat didn't detract even the slightest from the feelings of being there.

Oh....Dad, he doesn't weigh that much, only about 170. :D

Not sure Ken, didn't have any scale to weigh him. At least that way, he can weigh as much as I want him. :bigsmyl:
