Havs anyone ever used the SKIN EEZ limb covers? If so do they work good and look nice or is the real thing better and worth the extra time. Any info would be helpful. TKS

I have used them. They are easy to apply and look OK. But, they do not look like the real thing.
-
Agree with John. They look good but not as good as the real thing. Easy to apply and seem to be pretty durable.

Here's some pics of my wifes Shakespeare that I did with the skineez. I put it on there the night before ATAR and about a dozen people stopped us and asked where we got it.....it is a little fragile when you first put it on there, but once it's cured a little it's a lot more durable.

I got the diamondback and it looks pretty good, saw a copperhead one today and it looked good also

Up close, you can tell they're not real skins, but that's the same for all of them. From 5', they look just fine, plus they're a heck of a lot easier to put on, and you can take them off just as easy. Even I can do it, and that's saying something. Plus, Adam is great to do business with, IMO.

I put copperhead skineez on my widow about a year ago. They have held up well and look great, considering the amount of time it took to put these on vesus real skins.

If you can't afford the real thing I guess they are ok. At least that's my opinion of the copperhead (I think that's what I got). The package just said "reptile". The pictures of the diamondback look better. At a distance my bow looks pretty good.

I have the copperheads on mine, and I agree with what's been said here. They are easy to apply, and hold up well.
After looking at some of the other designs I wouldn't mind getting a set of the cane breaks, I think they look better in the skin eeze than the copperheads do.
I would really prefer to have the real deal, but the skin eeze are affordable and a whole lot easier to get.

I've got the Copperhead on one bow, they look good. And I've got the Diamondback on another. I'm happy with 'em. They look pretty good, and gives the bow a little protection.
Here's a pic of the Diamondback 2...

What do you think?

I put some copperheads on my morrison about two year ago. They are holding up well. I agree with everyone about the pinkish color of the skins, but after I sprayed 2 coat of Minwax Fast Dry poly the color really can to life. They good great to me now. Also I think the poly adds some protection. Here is a pic next to some real timber rattlers done by Bob Morrison.

I agree with basically everything everyone has to say here, a nice fair discussion ... it's a mixed bag. Indeed, they can dress up a shabby bow ... from a distance. I have 'em on one bow, but ripped 'em right off another. If you're looking to use 'em as camo, forget it, as they basically are vinyl tape and quite shiney, though a spraying of Helmsman clear satin and a rub-down with steel wool helps some. Adam is fantastically devoted to his product and his customers, which makes us want to support him. When I complained at the high cost for what it is, plastic tape, he explained that his rights and reproduction costs are also high and to sell them for any less would be a loss to him. So there you have it in my experience. If he could keep the price the same and find a way to add texture and dullness to the tape for camo effectiveness, I think we'd be happier and so would he. dave

I tried the diamondback II and copperhead patterns and took them off as well. I agree the limb covers have too much shine for hunting. The diamondback II pattern was blurry and the copperhead pattern was too pink or orange for my liking. Just didn't have good luck with them other than they came off clean. here are some pics.
