Title: Will alcohol damage the glue in actionboo?

Anybody know if methanol or ethanol will damage the glue in action boo?

I'm thinking of staining some in a bow build with an alcohol based stain.
I'd hate to have the stain weaken all the glue bonds.

I am using lams cut from verticle bamboo flooring. Does anyone know what kind of glue is used for lamination bamboo flooring?

It is a thermoset resin.
I have the same worries as you do.

My ONLY comfort lies in the fact that the stuff has been being used in bows and seems to work.

I've used alcohol to stain boo flooring without any problems. Don't know anything about actionboo. Do you have any scraps you can soak for a while?
