Title: Redwood lams
Post by: JamesV on August 20, 2013, 04:28:00 AM
Has anyone used redwood lams in a glass bow? I have build glass bows with dozens of different woods with good results. Some of the wood I didn't even know what it was and still don't. Just found some nice straight grain redwood and thought I would give it a try.

I think I remember Big Jim having built a bow with redwood veneers.

Yes, I have used it as veneers but never core. A real pain to use as veneer due to how fragile it is, but it is worth it as the Burl is outstanding!
good luck, bigjim
