I will not go into the whole story but my hunting season was filled with sorrow at the illness and passing of my father in November.I missed a lot of the season but on the New Years day I spent a long weekend at my club.On Saturday I spotted a small buck not shootable(club rules) but a short time later he ran this doe right to me and I made a good shot. The little buck was my good luck. NO MATTER OUR AGE, LOSING A PARENT IS LIKE LOSING AN ANCHOR IN YOUR LIFE. THE DRIFTING CAN BE TOUGH UNTIL WE GET RE-SET.
SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS, CONGRATS ON BEING BACK OUT THERE. IT IS GOOD THERAPY.
GOD'S PEACE
