Title: 1st of '09!
Post by: on February 01, 2009, 03:35:00 PM
Well, this is my first harvest of 2009. I got her the first weekend of Jan. It is a 6.5 year old doe I shot on a day hunt that I won at a 3-D shoot in Oct. I shot her with my Sarrels one piece recurve (49#@29") and it was a 16yd shot. I hope '09 turns out as good as '08 was.

That right there is an accomplishment.  To out-smart an old Texas doe.  In some ways bucks are easier, especially when in the rut and they are focussed on one thing!  Great job again Bisch on taking another critter with your bow.
