My PH for my upcoming Africa trip told me he was going to put me on some bushpigs so I had to go to the lease for a little warm-up hunt. I shot this 92# sow with my Sarrels takedown recurve 50#@28", Gold Tip 55/75, and GK Silverflame XL 150gr BH. Here's the pics:

Bisch, what is the total weight on your arrow? do you have a heavy insert on the front?

Gerardo, I am using Gold Tip 55/75's with a 110 gr brass insert and 150gr point. I use standard nocks and 3-4" feathers. Total weight is 516gr. That's just over 10gpp and seems to work very well.
