I had a quick hunt the other evening in the canyon above my house. This buck was a with a doe feeding on the low hills. I got within 40 yards and there heads came up, I knocked an arrow and let it fly. The 633 grain gold tip with an Eclipse broadhead took the buck through the front of his shoulders. He made it about 20 yards.

I shot this buck with a 633 grain gold tip arrow. I had an Eclipse two blade on the front. The buck hunched up and was "shocked" upon arrow impact, similiar to how they react when shot with a rifle. I am a believer in heavy arrows now.
