Title: Video Frustration!
Post by: elk ninja on September 22, 2011, 11:07:00 AM
The last couple years I have really enjoyed doing a video hunting journal (ala survivorman).  Problem is, I can't get the one minute snippets to upload to photobucket, blogspot, vimeo or youtube.... Is it my internet connection speed?  Can I compress them or something like that?  I'd really like to get them to my blog, but I am getting frustrated.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!

youtube is pretty foolproof, never had a problem.  so, what problem/error are you encountering with a youtube video upload, and what video format are you using?

Rob,
In all honesty, I think it is my internet connection.  We use Clear and they seem to do whatever they want to with our speed.  I am going to try somewhere else and see what i can get going.

The format is .AVI  I have used youtube before and had slow speeds as well (maybe that means I am a fool, I am certainly not super computer literate... more than some, less than others for sure)

The error is that it is telling me it is going to take 4 hours to download a 1 minute clip.

Thanks for your help!
