I recently began receiving lots of spam emails (up to 30 per day) that look like member posts on a forum called "Extreme Bow Hunters". I've never visted or even heard of this site before. Anybody else getting these unwanted emails? Is there a way to get unwanted email blocked from this site. I mark it as spam in my email but it just keeps on coming in.

99.9999% of the time the sending address has been hijacked - if you look deep into the email's header you might see the real originating address, which is usually china, saudi arabia, russia, etc.
the only way of blocking such spam is to set up a filter in your email app, to block the title and/or body content.
NOTE: - if you mark the email as "spam", you are blocking the visual email address! you might want to receive email from that address, some day!

Thanks for the tips, Rob. I think I've solved the mystery. Extreme Bow Hunters is something called a "closed group" on Facebook. I recently joined Facebook to keep up with family & friends. I check Facebook every now and then, but I'm not active. Anyway, a guy who knows I bowhunt added me to this group without asking me. I think I just figured out how to stop the unwanted emails by "blocking" this group using Facebook privacy settings. Time will tell if it worked. If not, I'm going to email them and ask to be removed from their group. Clint

Update - I just went to this group's Facebook page & found I could remain a member but turn off receiving notifications or simply ask to leave the group. I asked to leave because the talk is mainly about bowhunting with modern high-tech equipment. Nothing wrong with 300 fps compounds but I prefer the traditional sites. :)
