I'm sure there's a way to do it, but I don't see it. I'd appreciate it if you would tell me how It's done. Thanks.

sure ... don't use the 'quick reply' box, instead click on 'full reply form' and at the bottom of that screen you can click on the option for 'Email Notification: emails sent to you whenever someone replies.'
