Congratulations! I love hog hunting.
What was the weight...118#?
-
Very nice
-
How was the penetration with a lighter arrow?
-
Clean pass through in and out stuck in the ground. I started shooting arrows around the 400 grain mark and really like the way they shoot. I'm more accurate with them and have seen no down side with them. Im guessing weight wise was around 100 to 125lbs

yep that was the case with my 2 hogs last sunday.45# bow and 450gr arrow.... they zip thru fine! all it takes is that razor sharp broadhead. i like an arrow around 9gpp...gives a lil room for range misjudging:)here's the link- http://tradgang.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=091001

Called in 9 bulls so far and have yet to put one on the ground, hopefully soon! You doing any good?
-
 Nice job!
-
Missed 3 bulls this year :banghead:
Got a 5x5 muley, but the coyotes got to him first. I did get a muley doe afterwards.
-
They talking up by you? Been hush hush her but still coming in.
-
yes, this past mon/tues I had a 6x6 herd bull come in screaming at me as he pushed his cows to me.
I guess since I was trying to sound like a small bull with cows, he figured he'd come in and take my cows from me.
It was a great experience, but no shot opportunity.
good luck. :archer:
