so it has been hotter than hell here in north west arkansas. decided to go down to the arkansas river for a little bowfishing. planned on 4 nights butit was just too hot to enjoy more than a few hours for 2 nights. this was the first night with some buffalo carp, gar, catfish and the unfortunate beaver whom decided that practice time with the cactus cals and a magnus would be a perfect time to waddle near camp.

this is night 2 with 1 lonesome common carp and several buffalo carp, gar, catfish and even a bowfin to finish the night. ended up with some nice sized gar ( probably 7 over the 5 foot mark and many more stretching 4 foot). weather was hot but the action was even hotter
