Title: First hog with my new Bob Lee....
Post by: buzzcut 125 on August 10, 2011, 09:11:00 AM: I have had the itch to go get a notch on my new Bob Lee so i filled up a feeder and gave it several days. I got in my stand about 20 min. before the sun came up and about 15 min. after it got light enough to see i heard foot steps coming my way. I finally picked up movement and saw it was a hog. the feeder had not spun yet so i knew he wounldn't hang around long so i stood up and got ready. He came down a trial that was going to put him at 15 yrds. As he cleared the trees and came into my opening i picked my spot and let the Easton A/C/C tipped with a 125 grain Muzzy Phantom fly....It found the sweet spot and got both lungs with a complete pass through. Last year was my first year to shoot traditional and i was able to arrow a buck as well as a coyote! It still blows my mind how much more rewarding it is to kill an animal with traditional equipment vs a compound bow. Good luck this hunting season (Thank GOD it is almost October) we are at 42 days of +100F in a row.

Its not the "SMOKE edition" I went to the shop in Jacksonville and was talking to J.J. and he showed me a riser in the grey action wood and i loved the way it looked so i had them build me one with the grey action wood riser and limbs. The bow turned out exactly how i had hoped and shoots great! Thanks for all the nice comments, I will hopefully be posting more pics soon!

The Orange feather is hidden...they are a bit hard to see in flight but even harder to find on the ground. I am having them re-fletched!
