Oh man I LOVE getting a shot at coyotes. I'm baiting some right now and waiting for the right wind, which will be here tomorrow.

Congrats, and way to go Bear. And a very nice shot to boot. How far was your shot, and how far did he go once he was hit?

Shot him from a tree at about 8-10 yards. He ran about 40 yards. He was quatering away, so the entrance is on the other side, high and back on the ribcage... so I got lots of goodies. He weighs 35 pounds, and is almost red in color.

Yes he is nearly red. Honestly the prettiest yote I've seen.

Nice job...I know this may seem harsh, but keep dropping those things. We have quite the problem in Maine with them. I'd like to get one with my trad equipment.
