Title: Opening weekend success in TX!

I went with a friend to his ranch in hopes of getting an axis deer. His ranch is near Sonora, Tx, and there is a lot of free range axis in the area. I did not get the axis, but was luck enough to get a little BBQ pig on Friday afternoon and a big fat doe Sunday morning!

Hey Bisch, great shooting as always, I grew up in Ozona and have friends with a ranch outside of Sonora. Randy Gillet is his name. His mom and dad were very close family friends to my parents. Have not seen him in a long while, he inherited the ranch from his mom's parents.
