Title: Fall Bird in the Bag!!!
Post by: on November 04, 2015, 04:08:00 PM
Well, I had a really nice central Tx "11" pointer in front of me this morning. He had 9-10" spikes on both sides, and I had decided to shoot him as soon as he turned to a good position. Then, all of a sudden, he and the other buck that was there just took off like something bit them on the butt! I thought it was probably pigs coming in, but was pleasantly surprised when it turned out to be a bunch of gobblers! This one paid the ultimate price for scaring the deer away!

Good one Sir. I handled one of the Sarrels longbows the other day. I see why you like them so now. RC

The Black Plague is now my back up bow. I am now shooting another Sarrels Blueridge at the same specs. Just felt like something new last year, so I ordered a new Blueridge! The only differences in the two is the woods, and the new one is 2" longer.
