Title: Bobcat bucket list

I was able to knock bobcat off my bucket list.  Got this female bobcat with my 57# Bob Lee recurve.  I was in a hanging stand when I spotted her.  She never stopped so I had to make my movements when she moved behind patches of tall grass.  She had a squirrel in her mouth and dinner on the brain.  I hit her on the jog at about 20 yards.  The arrow went through the squirrel first, pretty crazy, beautiful animal.  The first pic is how she was when I walked up to her.

I am looking into a mount, pretty pricey though.  This will probably never happen to me again though. Probably a once in a lifetime type deal.

Special harvest...would relish an opportunity at a kitty...have only had two close encounters and neither time was the bobcat season in.

That's awesome! Well done.... I'm in the camp of mounting it with squirrel also. Once in a life time there... That being said, I'm not the one paying the bills. Only you know if that's wise. Like "Friend", I've had opportunities at them but never during the right season, quota, or packing a Fur Bearers license here in Iowa. Nice Work!
