Title: Cajun Bowfishing!!!!

I got got go bowfishing with a few buddies in La last Thursday and Friday nights. bornagainbowhunter, BDann, Bob Sarrels, and myself made up the group. We fished with Bow Deadly Bowfishing Charters out of Port Sulphur, La. Capt Richard did a great job of putting us on the fish!

This is the cool airboat we were on:

Thursday night we were in fish all night. We ended up with a limit of redfish, 2 sheephead, several small gar, and one MONSTER gar!

My buddy Nathan, from Arkansas (bornagainbowhunter on TG), got the first arrow in the big gar, but three of us shot it before we got it in the boat. Nathan kept wanting to claim that it was a 400#'er, but in reality, it was more like about 120#. Here is Nathan with the big fish of the trip:

We had a lot harder time finding the fish Friday night, and the water was a lot murkier, but Capt Richard kept looking until he found them for us!

Here is Friday nights take. Another limit of redfish, and some smaller gar.

It was a great time with some great friends, and with a great guide!!! I can't wait till we get to do it again!

Looks like a  lot of fun, plus you  get a little good eating Fillets.  Congrats Bisch.

Dang Bisch. I would have been afraid to drag that dinosaur in the boat with me. That's is too cool.
