I heard today that my best friend since college died unexpectedly. He was 57. I taught him to shoot a bow in the early 2000s. He was 6'6" and one of the strongest men in both body and mind I have ever met. Please pray for the comfort of his family and friends.

Praying for peace and comfort Curtis and losing friends is tough on our soul that's for sure. I found out I lost my friend I graduated with about a month ago and it was kept quiet. The sad thing was he died last June of 2017 and I found out just a month ago.
I'll say a prayer for you and family!

Thank you, sorry for your loss as well.

Curt,
As we age, losses start to pile up... parents, friends, then next we're in the hopper... :dunno: Guess it's the natural order of things... Surely doesn't make it easier, but as Tom Selleck said in one of his Western movies, "Tis a poor thing to fear the inevitable", then he adds it was said by someone who wasn't dying...
Truer words never spoken.
Even Jesus cried for his friend Lazarus, so grief of loss is also natural. I will say a word for you, your friend and his loved ones.
Carry on!
