Title: WING "slimline" Pro-Vantage
Post by: jackdaw on June 02, 2018, 10:08:26 AM
When I got back into traditional archery about a dozen years ago, this is the first bow I bought. I believe a 1968 Wing Slimline pro vantage.. 43 lb...... 62". The Riser is all black phenolic, and the limbs maple core. The riser has a  red and natural maple accent line and an extremely narrow grip. I have been stopped many times because many people wish to purchase this bow from me? Are any of you familiar with this bow?  It's a very accurate bow. It is one of my favorites and I won't get rid of it. A couple years ago I passed on one of those round, rotary style Wing Quivers for it and it has the grommets at the top and bottom of the riser. Not a Speed Demon, but one of my favorites! Super smooth.

Yeah John, I think the Slimline series are vastly underrated. Great bows and yours is a beauty.

John, you're really missing out on the Wing bow quiver it is one of the best and quietest bow quivers I have ever used.

Tell me about it! He had three of them for $20 each! Now that I want one they're hard to find!
