With the archery shoots we attend done for the year I'm looking at how all the archery shows performed for us. See where we are going back to, who we are adding on, and how to do things differently.
One of those things right now is what to put on the tables to show and to giveaway. We have decals right now for anyone walking by, free plastic bags for those who need them, and a free hat if you shoot a bow.
Question is then... Is there a different SWAG item to give out free? We used to give out can wraps. Not sure they are missed really. Being free it has to be lesser costs, and I like to have our name on it. So just putting this out there for ideas.
Oh, if you have a shoot you think we should attend or sponsor, feel free to email me at [email protected] or PM me here. If feedback on any other area of us attending shoots (other then to sell stuff) I'm all ears too. Thanks!

Coins ,medallions ,pens, pencils, notebooks ,patches we've seen all these things given the coin or medallion is something that last almost forever, people collect them and the more you buy the cheaper they are .

One thing to think about is focusing on the kids. You might even consider sponsoring the participation prize for all the kids at the events that you attend. Key chains, decals, ribbons, medals, coins, pins, arrowheads, etc. all work well for that purpose.
For me, if it doesn't have a use, I won't pick it up off of the table. How about string wax, or some other similar product that has your logo on the side?

Old and young like hats.but that can run into lots of money .patches and decals are also good.plastic logo bags are good too.

I like the kids idea as well. They are our future. Some sort of prize given to the winner/s with the logo on it. Plus some photo ops IMO would go a long way. As for “walkers by” I like the idea of an archery related item. Pencils last longer than pens in my quiver. Hats usually end up in the closet. I do have a “coin” from a longtime ago, a Doug Kitteridge “wooden nickel” which by the way was redeemable. Yes it’s wood.

5 in 1 emergency whistles with your logo on them would be my suggestion.

I always like T-shirts, or hoodies, but like hats they can get pretty expensive. How about gift certificates? Definitely something for the kids, as said above they are our future. If you feel like traveling the Barryton Stickbow Shoot is one of the newer ones and is family oriented, they just celebrated their 10th anniversary this year, it's a fun shoot and the food is great. If that weekend is free for you come on up and shoot with us.

Cans of SPAM with 3 Rivers labeling or Johnsonville brats with 3 Rivers labelling or jerky with 3 Rivers labelling. Sorry I'm hungry, but bowhunters love SPAM and brats, and who doesn't like gnawing on a chunk of jerky when there are no deer around.

The company I work for also does “shows”. Over the years some of the items that seem to be hits and people will continue to use are cups or glasses and the mini flashlights. If you do flashlights, do ones that take a single AA or AAA. Those ones that take watch batteries are ok, but nobody ever keeps them after the batteries die.
And always try to have something for the kiddos. People are more willing to pick stuff up for their kids than for themselves.

I love this thing!
Steel is better than aluminum
See if you can find something like this.

perhaps a field dressing glove kit with your name on it. Everyone hopefully needs them and they would easily fit in a bag or pocket at a show. Everyone would remember your name when they’re happiest. 😉

Items that I might genuinely like and/or want, not just take home because it's free...
- hats
- decals for truck
- stickers
- catalogs
- t-shirts
- rubber arrow pulling tool (could even be a thin rubber disk type)
- business card with exclusive promo codes (say 30% off one item with a max of a $100 off)...It may cut profits on a single item but who of us actually only buys one item at a time?
- field point weight test kits
- arrow wraps
-
TR Arrow wraps make adults and kids happy. To keep cost down how bout 3 packs
-
P38 can opener.

That would work..

Thanks everyone! Some really good suggestions here. For the kids, our stickers seem to be a big hit, but I'll keep an eye out for something kid specific. The Barryton Stickbow Shoot looks great, and almost a straight shot north from 3Rivers, but July 20th was the IBO Trad Worlds.
I'm going to give these ideas a though and in a week or so bounce some suggestions off all of you. Thanks again!

this is what I’m thinking. I’ve seen these for 7.25 retail for a six pack so I believe you could get them with your logo for reasonable cost.

neck gators might be something for everyone....?

I wonder if you could get your logo printed on feathers?

Paper tagets.

Kids like stickers. Maybe not 6” truck decals, something smaller. My kids are 6, and the "thing" right now is keychain-like baubles they can hang on their backpacks. Stuffed/plush emojis, like :archer: might be a hit.
How about small hand towels with the 3R logo and a grommet to hang it off a belt loop or quiver?
