High performance, hard hitting, smooth drawing, quiet hot rod. trace your hand and it will fit hand like glove. On a side note , they are super aggressive limb profile, which for me made them slightly twitchy to a not so perfect release. I have shot 58,60,62", the 62" was my favorite. My 62" centaur is my top performing bow to date. Like a idiot i traded it to try another style of bow, they will hold their value as well. You cant go wrong imho

Jayrod,
I have owned 4 Centaurs and still own 2 of the Chimera models. One of the 2 that I had was a Triple Carbon I called “Scrub buck” due to the antler Jim craved in the handle. Edit: actually sold first to Yellow Dog who sold it to Carrjou (sp) and he eventually sold it again.
Wished I would have held on to it, alas but it is gone.
Centaurs in general for me are the best bows available (for me). I have tried other big name bows but keep coming back to Centaurs. There smooth, really fast, and are accurate as the shooter can be. Have made some awesome shots with mine.
Walked out of the house two days ago and a squirrel took off running down the slope in the back yard time I had a blunt on the string and drawing he was crossing 40 yards at 45 he and the arrow intersected :bigsmyl: I looked around hoping a neighbor had seen it to verify what just happen, lol.
One of my favorite sayings at 3D shoots is “never underestimate the power of the Centaurs” :goldtooth: In short you won’t be disappointed.
Plus Jim’s fit and finish is second to none. And it is the hardest nearly scratch proof finish of any bow I’ve owned.

Jarrod I am on my third or fourth one, this one will never leave me. I love it. It is quiet, fast and the grip fits me perfectly. All of mine have been 62”, and somewhere between 48-53@28. Seth has a takedown that is also 62”, a little more poundage than mine. Both shoot hard and fast, mine is a one piece, Seth’s is a takedown. You’ll get to see and shoot both of them in a little over a month from now! 😁

Have owned three Triple Carbon Elites.
Love the 62"r...have not owned a 60"r
Well behaved....truly quick than most recurve and a pleasurable shooting experience.

Phenomenal hybrid longbows, I agree with everything stated so far. I have owned all of Jims models and several Triple Carbons. They do everything right and built with heirloom quality. If you don't have a lot of money to play with different bows and have your heart set on one, get it and keep it cause you won't do better, just "different", this goes for most of the top echelon bows. Everyone's taste is different. I will probably own other Centaurs in the future, for me they have always been a "sure thing", and yet the two bows in my sig are my current favorites. Jim is a true artist and renaissance man and one of the best guys around.

I'm sure Smokin Joe will be here to post shortly. I shot is, very very very impressed.

Come down and hunt with me like we have talked about, and you can test drive one!
One of my best buds finally just got his that you could come play with. 60" 55@28 dark matter TD with cottonmouth skins. Its one sweet bow man.. He has all the top bows and is in love with this one.
Being a lefty it is hard to test drive it too well, but I really like the way it shoots in comparison to the Chimara models he and another buddy have.

Had two 62 inch triple carbon, first one was great and I think I sold it to Friend. Second one just did not shoot like the first for some odd reason.
Currently shooting a Fox Triple Crown for almost a year with a Stickflinger and a Black river hybrid as backup
