I was fortunate to take a nice Mature Doe and now I can focus on bucks. In my 30 seasons of Bowhunting Whitetails this was the longest shot I have ever taken. It was 36 paces to my arrow. Tall Tines does it again! 615 grain Douglas Fir and a 160 VPA.

Nice shooting. Looks like a pass through? I always wondered at longer ranges if I would get the same penetration.

Thanks everyone. People have asked me several times over the years about wood arrows and if they will “pass through” and I would say if they are placed well they usually always blow through the animal. Here are a couple trauma pics..
