Just forged up a small Curly Maple patch knife for my hunting pouch...1084 seven inches OAL.

Beautiful knife Jeff! The wood in the handle turned out really nice :)
I’m using a flintlock for the first time during our week long muzzle loader season in NY. I’m excited to give it a go. It’s a whole set of different gear... luckily I can barrow most of it this year from a friend. I’m sure by this time next year I’ll have more “Stuff” in my hunting room :bigsmyl:

I used Fiebing's dark brown leather stain for that piece of Curly Maple. Aqua Fortis works great too.
