Wonderful pics and footage.
Harvested a nice bobcat a couple of nights back. Was hoping the trail cam picked up the tom but only triggered the camera after the tom's quick exit and missing the kitty.

Great pictures everyone!
Bvas that is a nice buck!
-
Nice one, Brad.
-
Had well over a hundred pics of this guy the passed month a three different sets...always nocturnal
-
Awesome deer..
-
Numerous sightings but couldn't close the deal...can only say that he would never present me a shot opportunity. This nicin walked down to one of my sets last weekend. The same evening that I harvested the kitty.
Will soon post a pic of a true KY giant that I have been relentlessly pursuing the passed four weeks. He is a real goodin and has survived this season.
-
Have been pursuing this beast relentlessly the passed 4 weeks. One night pic, two daytime pics and one sighting. Couldn't close the deal as he has survived the season. He definitely has left an impression on me. Note: One daytime pic is blurred as he was moving quickly and the other daytime pic has him mainly obscured by a brushy tree. Never the less he is most special.
Discovered his presence as I was running ten cameras in preparation for next season.
-
Friend, that is not a KY giant. That is a world giant!!
I would have a hard time sleeping at night knowing I shared the woods with a deer like that.
-
OMG....
-
:saywhat: :scared: :o
Incredible.... They don’t get much better than that for a Typical Giant...
Good Providence on finding the Sheds and hopefully meeting up next year Friend
-
Friend that is a monster!Wow
-
I think he needs one more year lol :archer:
I think I'd fall out of the tree if I saw something like that!
-
Wow!..what a freak of nature ! :o Incredible buck!!
-
Friend- that's about as good as it gets. Glad he made it thru so you can get a chance next year...
-
Friend that is a toad .
-
Thank you...Thank you...
-
I would be honored to come across his sheds. Magnificent and I wonder if he would help my target panic :jumper:
-
Wow. Spectacular specimen friend
-
Friend
I would keep and eye out for Berry and Gene Wensel. :biglaugh:
-
:wavey:
-
:o
-
WOW some good ones showing up!!!
I like big bucks, I cannot lie!! :bigsmyl:
-
Same deer as friend posted....he gets around I guess
Tim B
-
Took a little longer than I thought but I'm glad someone noticed the pics I posted are the same deer that Friend posted and is currently hunting in Kentucky :dunno:........these same pics have been floating around the internet since at least 2014 :biglaugh:.........I am not hunting this deer by the way
-
The pic was taken in the 3rd week of December in a narrow saddle 65 yards from one my sets as I have been running ten cameras to scout out areas for next season. The wildlife biologist and a trad buddy pulled the card before climbing into a double and showed me right after the hunt.
I took two pics, layed them side by side and blew them up in PowerPoint for comparsion.
Appears more than suspicious to me also.
-
A little disturbing that cedar grove just joined today - odd way to join the gang.....
Tim B
-
Disturbing?
I have been coming to this site for years to read the different forums.I decided to finally sign up to call BS on a member claiming to be relentlessly hunting a buck- even claiming to have seen him in the flesh-based on several year old trail cam pics.Apparently now his buddy pulled the chip from one of his cams and showed him this pic? Yeah.....I guess me joining today is more disturbing than hunting a deer that lives in imagination land
-
Just seems odd to me....
Tim B
-
This same deer traveled back in time and struck the exact same pose in December of 2015........amazing......never knew they could do that
-
[ You are not allowed to view attachments ]
Something can't be right here guys.
-
The deer was once again gracious enough to pose for a pic in November 2016......this time in Virginia
Not trying to stir trouble......just despise bs when it comes to deer hunting and glory seekers
-
Wow.......this is bizarre ... :o
-
That picture is on bing website...
And on wideopenspaces.....
-
hmmm,..trail cameras come with trophy pics already installed.....hmmmm… boy I need one of those. :biglaugh: so I can hunt a qhost.
-
Pour it on as you should for I have been had.
Thank goodness the first two pics are valid. The bobcat that I harvested the weekend before last was actually just mere yards in front of the buck in the forage oats.
-

Any chance you can post the two daytime pics? Even if partially obscured, there should be no mistaking those majestic antlers :biglaugh:

I appreciate you coming clean. But why the deception?
Probably the same reason others have tried to pull the wool over peoples eyes...........glory,self gratification,praise......the list is endless.......people become blinded by antlers and glory and forget what bow hunting SHOULD be all about :dunno:
-
And they were jumping on you Cedar :biglaugh:
-
I wasn't.
-
I know Terry.
I just thought it was funny, yeah this dude been floating around since 2015.
Whoever has pictures of him,he's nice.

Not at all

Depending on what/who to believe on the internet that deer was free range and living in Ohio.If someone had the luck of killing him I would imagine it would have been big news all over.It also may have been living on a deer farm :dunno:
-
No intended deception on my part as I was focused on hunting this ghost. I made 94 hunts this deer season as the big deer pursuit hi horsepower engine continues throughout the season. Perhaps I have blown a gascket.
1. My buddy claimed to have had him under his stand at 18 yards in the lower bottoms. This was the area that I had a close encounter with my first and only booner. He definitely knows what a big deer looks like. He has harvested five 150's, two 160's and an upper 180's class deer. Note: He currently has an upper 150's deer at the taxidermist harvested earlier this passed season. After the claimed sighting, I received a constant stream of texts for 30"s. I received many texts regarding his excitement for a week. Normally, he does not get excited. He also, puts up 30 stands, runs over 20 trail cams and puts out $10,000 in food plots annually.
2. Had obtained two daytime pics of a very large buck the next week where one pic was blurred and the other with his rack was so obscured by the brush that only a very large rack could be ascertained. My buddy claimed it was him but, to me, I could in know make a positive identification, yet I was still excited.
3. The line of 4", 6", 8" and even 10" diameter trees rub line next to my set merely stoked the fire.
Having fallen easy prey to conspiracy and collusion, I have learned much. The hoax directed at me has provided me a valuable learning experience. The unkowing false report that I submitted though, was costly to the Trag Gang members. The integrity and the comaraderie and trust we share has been compromised and is most regrettable. Please dig deep to try to find in your hearts the strenth to acknowledge my ignorance and accept my most sincere humbled aplology?
Pics and hunt information submitted in the future will be much more heavily scrutinized and viewed with a hopefully more discerning eye.
-
..thats what huntin buddies are for....they need a good swift kick though.
-
I have been following this and was very excited to see a buck like this and for Friend to have a chance at such a beast. Disappointed...a little...BUT..YOUR integrity was and is not in question to me.
-
were all just IMPERFECT humans...could have happened to any of us

Just returned from Buckeye, Arizona.
Have a javelina setup there with another Trad Ganger next January.
They have been in my short bucket list for many years.
Great pics.....

It is kinda funny. The javalina pics are up around 6000 feet, and we have been getting snow ,so I guess they are pretty tough animals
-
Normally wouldn't have a camera out in the winter but had left this one and just pulled it 2 days ago. Looked like this young fella was posing.

I hadn’t gotten to the drama part; whatever about that. That’s a big damned deer wherever it came from. But I got stuck in a porta John at fort huachuca with those pigs seemed like they were after me. I only got a good look at them once, and I had my bow, but only field tips and no license. So I let them get away. They’re kinda cool when you see them in a group like that. And mountain lions are just badass.

-
John Krause... your third pic on page 5 of the bobcat walking down the road. Do I see deer in the distance?
-
Dang, you guys are observant!!!
I missed the bearded hen. And now that I look Charlie, there are three deer in that pic. :o
-
Yes, Charlie it is. Must say didn’t notice it when I posted. Had to blow it up
-
Wanna bet that Bobcat (a real predator) saw those 3 deer a long way off. Probably the reason for the stealthy trip down that trail. I'm So Jealous!

I really like video mode on my game cameras... except when I've got a blackberry cane 5 feet in front of the sensor that blows in the breeze. 500 10 second clips are a pain to go through.
The moving picture allows me to really look over the giants I target. They usually turn their head at some point so I can judge both sides of their spikes. :banghead:
My main hunting spots don't allow the use of game cameras so that's a little disappointing. Back to the old ways. Time in the woods, reading sign and personal observation.
Have to learn to move videos to YouTube.

These pics were taken at a new mineral lick I established a couple of months back. It's right near a creek and what I'm guessing is not too far from the bachelor group's bedding area. Getting ready to hang a stand near here, right where it comes out on a field of late beans.

I am sure you will have some dandy's friend. I as well hope to be collecting a few here in a week or two . I let a few go last year that were real nice. Hoping to see how much growth they've had.

Thanks, sure hope to see him when season opens on 9/7. Will be my first opportunity to hunt early enough for a chance at a velvet buck.

3 years running now, I get one pic of this guy and never see him again. I've never seen him with me eyes. He's a state forest, public land bruiser fo sho and there is a natural hidey hole I use right there.

-
WOW!!! 7x7!!
I was so enthralled with the bull I barely noticed the cow and calf in the background.
-
Love these pics...
Experienced something unusual this past Saturday morning when checking cameras. One location yields few pics of does. The camera hadn't been reviewed in one week. There were 1478 pics....all were 1478 pics were of bucks. A camera set approximately 100 yards had 908 pics....typical mix of does and bucks.
-
@ Friend
So guess you have one stand location definitely figured out :bigsmyl:

I set up a camera over the gut pile from the buck I took. Interesting to see what showed up.

Good news that you guys don't have hogs there, yet! Great pictures of the cycle of nature.
-
“Yet” is the operative word. I’ve heard unverified tales of good old boys bringing hogs up and turning them loose in the river bottoms. Time will tell I guess.
-
From what my brother tells me there is a shoot on sight order from the State DNR. Next time back I'm gonna check out my old haunts, and see if it is still farmland or subdivision.

Deer have dropped all their antlers over this way now. Here are some pictures from about a month ago. With the terrible drought over here, the deer are eating piles of cotton seed that the farmer is feeding their cattle with.
