Rainy day with forge fired up...Keeslar flare finger guard with wide blade and skinny handle. Hollow grind on blade...haven't done one of these in years. Just needed to do something different. Blade quenched and tempering in the oven. Not sure how I want to finish it, if I finish it at all!
Tempered and blade re-ground...

That looks very nice Jeff.

Nice one Jeff. Those are my favorite to forge of all blade styles.
-
Nice !
Like that style

The spine, the blade edge, the grind... beautiful lines on that one Jeff! :campfire:

Jeff, Your flairs are sure clean. I sure like a hollow ground blade and it fits well on that one. The blade you sent some years back has been used a lot and is a dandy.

Robin,
I'm really glad to hear that it still works :biglaugh:

Hay Jeff I remember doing the flair years ago. Still like the simple elegance of this blade. Thanks for the show

Did you get a handle on this one Jeff? I love this blade shape you made. :campfire:

Not yet...hog hunting and riding my horse seems to be taking up my time these days.
-
Ha well that sounds wonderful too :bigsmyl:
Enjoy Jeff!
