Title: Jerry Hill book
Post by: hunting badger on March 06, 2019, 01:25:24 PM
Has anyone bought and read Jerry's book on Shooting the Howard Hill Way? If so what did you think of it?

Thanks!

I'll be brutally honest, I found the book lame and one of the worst written books I have ever read on archery. It honestly shouldn't even be a book but a leaflet. I regret I bought this book. There are much better books out there than this one it's not even close.

Thanks Pete! I thought it was expensive, wanted to check before I bought. You saved me some money!

May not be the best written book and short, but there are some good points to it on the way Howard shot the bow, don't just take one persons opinion on some thing and call it a day.

If you mix it with the Schulz video and you are having trouble hitting as far out as you would like, read the book and then with some work find that a longbow can indeed be accurate out to point on ranges, You may have a completely different idea of the value of the information.  However, if you are a grip it and rip it close range only snap shooter and that is the only way you can shoot, perhaps it is the best knowledge you can learn, but you will have a tough time changing.
