I just finished this one up this evening...
- 6.5″ Crappie Filet in 1/10" AEB-L steel at 61 HRC, partial height hollow ground with convexed secondary bevel and wicked sharp for a fine edge but a sturdy spine
- Shadetree Custom Drunken Coffee Bag scales upgrade
- Kydex sheath with drain hole silhouetting blade tip – hole spacing set up for Tek-Lock/Combat Loop hardware to be ran vertically, horizontally, canted, or inverted

Nice knife and sheath! My stepson works for a coffee roaster so I have a source for free coffee sacks. Will have to try some coffe sack "mycarta".

I’d give it a whirl. Go to Shadetree Customs Micarta and/or Old Towne Cutlery for some colors inspiration. This one is just natural tan burlap with a maroon dyed epoxy. The open weave of the cloth lets you see into the handles for a couple of layers which is kind of neat looking to me.
