Very cool and nice form to boot!

Tim,
I was wondering what limb veneers your wifes bow is made with?
-
Great looking bow Tim!
Congrats to Steph, glad to see her getting started!!
-
That's a real beauty... and how great for a beginner to start with a bow that is properly made to fit them.
-
That's a real nice looking little Shrew! ;)
-
Looks like an excellent match!
Killdeer

That is outstanding, Congrats Steph!
I'm a little worried about your husband though. In the one picture it looks like he has a little bit of an obsession with Shrews. Maybe you could take one down off the rack from time to time and send it to one of his buddies, just for safekeeping sos he doesn't leave one setting unshot for long periods of time. :bigsmyl:

Nice collection os Shrews and very nice bow for the wife. I am curious, Who made the bow on the top on your rack? Kinda looks like an old Cascade Mountain bow.

Very cool. Congrats.Like danny said very nice bows. I really like the looks of the top one on the rack.<><
-
Looks good! I am curious, could you use some more "stuff" for your basement? Looks like you have plenty of room in there! Just kidding. We don't even have basements here in Oklahoma. I miss them. All my "stuff" is wadded up in the corner(s) of my office.

Guys thanks for all the kind words. Hopefully she will stick with it for a long time and maybe even pick up hunting some day.....but I wont push that I am just glad she is shooting.
The bow is all Tulipwood the riser and the limb veneers both.
The bow on the top rack is called a Grim Reaper. They were made by a guy in Windsor Canada for a short time but last time I talked to him he is no longer making bows.

Very nice!

That's great!
Sometime last year, I managed to get my wife to shoot my 30# bow...no arm guard. Guess what happened? I was that close! :banghead:
-
Cool Deal Tim! Bring her to BuckJam!
-
Very nice bow Steph,, Looks like your gonna have to get out and shoot with us boys now,,LOL,,
-
Thanks again guys!! She called me tonight while I was out doing some running and she told me when I got home I had to look at the target. She got the little one down for bed then she went down in the basement and did some shooting!! I couldn't believe that she went down on her own. I a pretty happy to say the least and the group she shot was really good considering how long she has been shooting!!
-
Sounds great Tim. I think you might be in the running for top Shrew Pig too!

You guys be careful what you wish for. I thought it would be neat to get my wife into archery. Then in less then one year she accomplished what took me 3 or 4 years to do plus she started whooping my butt at the 3D shoots :scared: man is that tough to live down around the camp fire :biglaugh: . But I am over it now :o , plus now I have a Shrew Hawk & Knife and I know my throwing arm is much stronger then hers :D

Thats cool Tim, nice bow. Oh by the way, I'l take the cooler. :bigsmyl:
