Terry, let me tell you a humorous story about seasoning camp food. For a number of years I work with a Boy Scout troop. We did not allow freeze dried or canned food - they had to cook. The other leader and I always follow this rule also. On one trip , he bought some really beautiful steaks to grill. He made the statement, "Sam, the secret to good camp cooking is lots of black pepper". He then made an exaggerated show of seasoning the meat. Unfortunately, he had picked up the cinnamon instead of pepper. We didn't notice it till we took the first bite. Pepper good, cinnamon not so good. Use your seasoning carefully.

Not meaning to de-rail the post...
I got some of the Montana Mex (https://www.montanamex.com/) seasoning for Christmas last year. It is AWESOME!
I will definitely look at the Iron Skillet Seasonings as well, especially since they are a Trad Gang member. Can't have too many options in the kitchen.

That would be me Terry.
I was a dealer for them back then and was considering a sponsorship for a bit.
The owner, Dennis is still out doing shows at nearly 80.
All his own formulas mixed in small batches for freshness.
Best variety of game seasonings ever - and they work just as well on domestic meat.
