Title: EA-40
Post by: oldfartfarmer on October 27, 2019, 04:22:21 PM
Ive got a small project going on, and am wondering if I can use the EA-40

will Petrolium Jelly smeared on a piece of metal keep the EA-40 from gluing a wood block to the metal?
I need to glue a series of small blocks up against a curved piece of metal sitting on another piece of wood they will be glued to
 without it gluing the metal
the metal needs to be able to be lifted straight up after the glue is dry,
,
Thanks
John

Most likely it will work, but it might get messy. Could you cover the metal with saran wrap?
Dave.

That does sound messy! You could use any number of things. Like Dave said, plastic wrap is a good choice. Blue tape would work. I think I would use some car or furniture wax that dries hard.
