2019 has been pretty good so far. Put a doe in the freezer a few weeks ago and have been seeing deer almost every sit. Last weekend I spotted some fresh rubs and decided to hunt them that evening. A decent 7 pt with one side deformed chased a doe past me then proceeded to rubbing the same tree I set up for. He was 15 yards away and broadside but had a tree guarding his vitals. He spent at least 5 minutes working that tree then turned and walked directly away not offering a shot! 4 days later I decided it was time to go back and see if he'd show up again. 7 does all wandered by but no bucks. He has definitely been back though. This tree is taking a beating.

Hope you punch a hole in him! Sounds like a text book season for sure.
