Pastor Steve,

What kind of a church to serve ?  Is a small church are large church ?  I'm an outreach Pastor/director and a small community Church, were about 170 people.  I also teach on Wednesday nights.  The church started in the home with 5 people 22 years ago.

I love combining my bow hunting stories with illustrations, I just recently cut my thumb with a razor blade in my bow shop where I work (part-time so far) it needed five stitches, and as the blood was dripping off of the thumb I said to the doctor " that reminds of that " and the doctor said remind you of what, how the blood drip down off of the cross and around down on the nail and on to the ground, when they nailed Jesus Christ to the Cross for our sins, he got nervous, then when the nurse came in, after the doctor left, I told her that the doctor got nervous ! She said
" what do you think he was so nervous about ", well I told her about the blood dripping off my hand reminding me of how Jesus Christ gave up his life for our sins, and asked her she saw the Passion of the Christ, and she got nervous.  So you just turn anything into a opportunity to witness, now my is thumbs all wrapped up, so far I've told the story to, two gentlemen in a restaurant, a gas station attendant, about eight people at church, and two relatives.

The moral of the story, don't slash your thumb with a razor blade, just bandage it up, and tell the story anyway !  Just kidding !

As far as bows go, the next time I'm preaching, I'll be using my bow during the whole sermon, kind of an illustration, of simple equipment, simple things to witness about Jesus Christ.

I'll bet the doctor was nervous.  He probably initially assumed that you came to the hospital for medical treatment with a minor injury and then discovered that you were showing signs of altered mental status from blood loss.  Either that, or he thought you were being completely inapropriate and attempting to use shock value rather than just showing the world how having 'God' in your life made you a better person by living a good life and being a good role model.

Getting back to the original topic, Tim makes a great bow and is a ture artist.  You won't be dissappointed with any of his bows.

I went to the web site, and I like the one that's a single photo at the bottom before the last three photos, it's a black riser, with white tips, it sure does look sharp.

Didn't look at what the price would be, it sure is sharp looking.

And I've always been under the impression;

"That just because you're born in a garage, it doesn't make your car"

There's one Tradganger that has a signature line

" if you're living as though there is no God, you better be right"

I think that's pretty cool !  And true
