Had my draw arm shoulder joint replaced in March of 2017. Hunted in 2017 2018
with my 40 lb. Kanati long practice sessions and cold weather were tough. Things just got allot better Saturday night. Shot 31 deer with a bow, this one meant the most! I'm 68 and now thinking it won't be my last.
I'm not what I was years ago but I have a son that is the BEST (hunter and son) who is always there to help. Hope he reads this so he knows how truly thankful I am.

Congrats brother! I’m a little younger than you but in 2017 I underwent a serious surgery and I killed a buck, actually 2 that fall. I know how special those deer were. Just months earlier I was learning simple skills. Way to go, never give up!

Glad all your perseverance has paid off! Enjoy your hard-fought victory!

Congrats and good to hear that shoulder replacement doesn't end the game-- mine has never been the same (bow arm) and I am still struggling to connect even after 5 years.

It took me a couple of years to get back to full capacity. Well, as close as I was going to get.
