In 2012, my wife and I tragically lost our son Mason at 14 months old. While processing the news that our little guy wasn't going to survive, Kellie and I still had the right frame of mind to make a life changing decision. We chose to donate Mason's organs. In doing so, four people are alive today that otherwise would have passed as well. We've stayed very involved with the Gift Of Life organisation and last year we were fortunate enough to underwrite a newly added guestroom at the Gift Of life Family House in Philly. The GOL Family House now has 32 guestroom that house those who are either awaiting a transplant or recently received one and their families. This past Monday, we were invited to the unveiling of the room we underwrote in our sons memory. If you aren't registered as an organ donor already, I respectfully ask that you reconsider. Here are some pictures from the room dedication.

I'm sorry to read of your loss but it's heartwarming to see how you've let your loss be other's gain! :notworthy:

God Bless you! and thank you....My grand daughter received her gift in 2009 at six years old after four open heart surgeries and a life spent in and out of hospitals. a day doesn't go by that I don't thank God and our donor and family. My little girl is now a healthy sixteen year old. I have been extremely blessed to be able to watch her grow, go to school get her drivers license and just live a normal healthy life, She is a special young lady now and has touched so many peoples life. We are involved in the donate life organization here in Colorado and have had the pleasure of working with several local groups and the Denver broncos and Colorado rockies signing up donors etc.. I;m very sorry for your loss and pray you can find son peace and comfort in knowing how many people your Mason has saved. Again God Bless.
