Title: NYS DEC Deer Management Plan

Please look into this, as the period for public comment is extremely short, and the plan is 79 pages long.  Some disturbing proposals that are included are:

A "special" FIREARMS ONLY antlerless season in September
Full Inclusion for crossbows
Extending the legal hunting hours to 1/2 hour before sunrise and 1/2 hour after sunset, even during the Regular (Firearms) Season

The 1/2 hr before sunrise is in almost every other state in the nation, & is in Turkey season here in ny already, this should not be a concern. Mike
