Title: tried something different
Post by: pintail_drake2004 on January 07, 2021, 08:09:49 PM
I usually work with stone or obsidian, buy my nephews asked for hunting knives. So I bought some damascus blanks, dug through my stack of stabilized wood and found some brass. This is what I came up with. Stabilized natural buckeye burl and stabilized spalted maple.

I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. I don't know if I'll be making more or not, but it was fun to do something different. Anyone have a source of quality Damascus blades/blanks
