When you guys make a laminated, ASL styled bow, in the 66" - 68" length, how long do you make your riser?
-
12-13" But I like shorty risers. Cant believe I just typed that :o
I think most do 14-15", I think.....

All in what yer used to, Flem...

If riser is on top of belly lams, i like a 14" riser. If doing a thin lam with or without a veneer, then i like to go with 15" for a 66" and 16" for a 68"z.

I go 12 to 18. Mostly 14.

14. Only because I like to see a bit more wood
