With all the attention on Social media these days, and all the different pages - as well as my own Andersen Forge Knives page - I've posted almost zero topics on forums for a long time, out side of the ABS forum page.
I'm not even sure how I ended up on Trad Gang, but truth be told, Trad Gang is part of my knife makin roots.
So I figured I'd share some recent hunting-style knives I've made.
Descriptions will be brief!
Here's a W2 w/Hamon and stabilized Black Ash burl:

Very nice.

I really like this one!
Some W2, "frosted"/hot-blued guard and stabilized end-grain spalted maple:

this went to a native American in northern Minnesota as a gift from his nephew.
Copper is sacred to them so the knife and sheath both have copper accents as well as the Black Ash burl being from that region:

A Laddered Damascus hunter:

And to end for now - a couple Quetico Kleavers! (these will help with processing that big moose!)

Great looking work karl. Nice to see you post here again.

Here's one I just finished yesterday. I forged it out of a 2 1/8" round bar of what we refer to as "Old Ass" W2.
The handle is some stabilized Missouri "Flaming Crotch" Black Walnut.
